Bush started "The War on Terror", common sense tells us that would include all enemies foreign and domestic
(ie:republican). Surely Biden could create a new office/position/panel to look into homegrown terrorists, past,
present, & future. Hell, ask George W. to lead this new "War on Terror", would help divide the republican party.

(5,499 posts)If there local crimes were made national news, and they were prosecuted fully, we could root out a lot of aspiring domestic terrorist. The problem is they are treated gently and their support is courted by Republicans.

We need a better way to describe social struggles than warfare.

(47,282 posts)This making everything about "war" is indicative of what a militaristic country we've become. Its no wonder we have more guns than people, we are always at war with something. We even have wars on diseases. Yes, there certainly are better ways to describe our goals and objectives.
