But, WOW, you've GOT to buy (maybe a gift for a "Trumpster-friend" of yours) the series of books:

YUGE - #SAD - LEWSER

It is just SO amazing how Trudeau NAILED everything about him years ago - just SO unbelievable - I can't come close to describing it. His 'strips' from the 90's were SO CLEARLY dead-on about the guy - and we only laughed: "How could that ever happen to us?"

for the life of me, I don't know why anyone thought he'd change and act "presidential". Trump has always been an unbelievable dirt bag, and New Yorkers tried to tell everyone during the primaries leading up to the 2016 election. No one would listen, especially the rural rubes who swore up and down that, "he's one of us, he speaks for us". King Con is for himself, and only speaks for himself. He wouldn't piss on any of his cult members if they were burning alive. To him they're merely affectations to his ego, and a revenue stream.

back then and even before. Trudeau probably picked up a news story about it then and just ran with it. He did describe Trump well, though. I'm not the wordsmith he is, but I've followed Trump since the 70s, and I would have called that an apt description even then.

I live about 50 miles north of NYC, and am fully aware of how massive a pile of shit Trump was even back in the 90's, but I hadn't realized Gary Trudeau have him so perfectly pegged.

It would have been kind of observational and confrontational in, say, 2015 or 2016. In 1999, it was incredible!

"New York real estate magnate Donald Trump announced the creation of a presidential exploratory committee on the October 7, 1999 edition of Larry King Live on CNN. Although Trump had never held elected office, he was well known for his frequent comments on public affairs and business exploits as head of The Trump Organization"

He had a big mouth and I didn’t care for his politics, but he wasn’t a white supremacist or a pathological liar, and he managed to get a few things done that were actually good, along with other things that weren’t so good. He served one term and didn’t run again.

I would take Jesse any day over the shitstain.
