Should complicit Republicans be exposed by name in the Impeachment Trial?

Should Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Marco Rubio, Ron Johnson, Lindsey Graham and others that were complicit in the Big Lie be asked to dismiss themselves from the trial?

If they refuse, then video should be provided for the people to judge. They cannot be fair jurors. Is that a fair point for Democrats to make?

Play the game just like the Republicans would play it.

Is to help the people who are suffering. Help them from being evicted, help them eat pay bills and get healthcare. Help them to survive.

And the implied message for the rethugs...
If you don't want to help the little people who are suffering ,get the hell out of the way.

We need to forgive and forget.
We need to move past partisanship.

In a pig's ass!

Every one of those assholes who backed trump's lies needs to be called out.

Forever.

Anytime they make a speech in the Senate, some Dem should be delegated to remind that august body that the distinguished Senator from MAGAland is a lying sack of shit who fomented Insurrection.

So there's really not much to lose. Might as well put them on trial too, in spirit.

Show enough evidence that it will expose them to criminal charges. We need to get our AG appointed quickly.

...or indict the GOP in a scorched earth trial.

If they think there’s a chance to convict Trump with a compelling case that will horrify enough Republicans to convict, they should do that.

Otherwise, use it to put them all on trial in the court of public opinion.

It would seem to me to be an opening to use whatever subpoena powers the House prosecution has to demand cell, email, phone, and audio/video records before, during, and after the insurrection. That's a nice catch-22. Turn over the goods and expect the evidence of complicity to be forwarded to appropriate law enforcement agencies for criminal investigation. Refuse a subpoena, it's obstruction and expect that to be forwarded to appropriate law enforcement agencies for criminal investigation.
