4. I can understand it if minor positions....

Like Ag, Education, Transportation, Labor, Interior, and HUD took a week or two after the Inauguration, but there's absolutely no good reason that Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Service (given the pandemic) should be held up like they are now.

While Biden doesn't need Republicans on these confirmation, I am pleased he's getting healthy vote totals from them. And there's been no real organized opposition to any particular nominee. Just goes to show the quality of Biden's nominees.
