If your Senator or Rep. is a Republican, call them to shame them for how skimpy this offer is, while these same folks were not concerned about targeting anything when they passed a gigantic tax cut for the wealthiest in 2017. If they are Democratic, even more urgent to tell them to stand strong in support of the Biden plan. Tell them that it this point Reconciliation is the only way to go as Republicans are not interested in serious offers.
The Republican plan would imperil our efforts to be beat this pandemic, and would almost certainly cost us control in 2022 and 2024, as we would be blamed. It would be breaking our promise of $2000 survival checks that won us the Senate, which is not how we want to start our term.
