IMO, Ds should be resubmitting and enacting Pelosi's HEROES Act from last year

I believe it was over $3-trillion. It’s what is still needed.

My feeling: Ds/Biden have ONE shot at passing meaningful stimulus through reconciliation. They may as well go for broke. In fact, Ds may as well include those $2000-a-month direct relief checks being called for by over 50 Congressional Ds - think and act the way Rs think and act when handing out their tax gifts to the super wealthy.

$1.9-trillion or $3.8-trillion, it doesn’t matter with Rs. They won’t vote for either. As long as reconciliation is the only real option with 51 D votes, they may as well go very big.

There's some question re: whether reconciliation claims are anything more than a negotiating tactic to bring Republicans to the table.
