The White House is reviewing whether Donald Trump should continue receiving intelligence briefings even though they traditionally are provided to former presidents.
NBC's Geoff Bennett asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Monday about Trump's ability to receive briefings.
"This is a good question," Psaki said. "It's something that's obviously under review."

Here's a suggestion - give him a briefing, but pepper it with false information. Then watch where that information shows up.

(2,268 posts)In 4 years of being residing in the White House -- how many of these daily briefing papers did he actually read?
How many times did he actually pay attention to an oral briefing?
Seriously....
On the other hand, let him apply for a security clearance -- you know disclose financials and such if he wants to get them. Of course, if it comes back "NO" ala Kushner and others, then no one gives him a special over-ride.
Mr. Trump is not receiving the typical updates because he could not be granted a security clearance by the appropriate agency because his risk assessment was too high.
