60 miles N of NYC- Still have power...16" of snow and high winds kicking in right about now. Hope I keep power thru the night.
We have a small generator, so we will be okay. Worried for anyone who has not gotten inside for the night in NYC and surrounds.

8. Most of the state of CT is well above the tides.

Other than some low spots on the immediate shore line, most in the state are 10s to 100s of feet above sea level. I’m at 546 feet right now.

11. Here in New Haven we are worried about the high winds knocking out our power.

And at least here in the East the snow is dry and not sticking to anything. I think power outages are a low risk.

10. Saturday one of our towns alreay had their high water rescue vehicles outside the fire house

Just driving through. I don't think I want to live in a town with high water rescue vehicles.
