seems to me to be a warmed up version of the old "blood libel" used by anti-Semites down through the ages.

I can't help but think that this is deliberate. That the barely submerged subtext of all this, not to mention the constant harping about George Soros, is virulent anti-Semitism, plain and simple.

And while I want to avoid my own excursions into conspiracy la la land, I can't help but wonder if this whole Q-anon cult had its roots in Russian agit-prop. This all seems so reminiscent of the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" hoax that was promulgated by the Czar's secret police at the turn of the 20th century--which fed directly into the extermination minded anti-Semitism as recounted in "Hitler's Willing Executioners."

I'm hoping a major priority of the Biden era intelligence community will be to track down who started this disgusting mess, and expose them and all those complicit in injecting this poison into our body politic.

This is all far too dangerous to let it continue unchecked.

So with very little effort be can go from advancing the idea of OT circumcision customs being linked to the eating of babies to abortion to stem cell technology to the idea of some sort of vampire-like drinking of children's blood valued for Adrenochrome. The mishmash of ideas that are re-purposed to put forward this crap makes for a story worthy of Dan Brown.

I hadn't heard about the Adrenochrome angle. The last time I came across the word was in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Hunter Thompson flat out admitted that a lot of his "gonzo journalism" was flat out nonsense. It's almost amusing to think these rabid right wingers took their cue from the man who coined the phrase "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro" and who in his "eulogy" to Nixon wrote that he was so crooked he had to screw his pants on every morning.
