in 2009, we let the Repubs talk the bill down and the recovery was slowed by years.

If we get the bill, our chances of winning in 2002 will improve because the lives of millions of Americans will improve. If we let the bill get whittled down, the Repubs will run on "Dems can't do anything right" and probably pick up seats.
