Two FBI agents killed attempting to serve warrant in Sunrise neighborhood

https://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/sunrise/fl-ne-sunrise-fbi-shooting-reflections-20210202-v3hlzy2yynerhpn577quiuwroi-story.html

Two FBI agents were shot and killed while serving a warrant in a residential neighborhood in Sunrise on Tuesday morning, sources say.

The shooting happened about 6 a.m. at a complex called Reflections, where a person has barricaded himself inside a residence located at 10100 Reflections Boulevard West, between North Nob Hill Road and Hiatus Road.

There were at least two wounded, including a FBI agent who was shot, an agent confirmed to The South Florida Sun Sentinel. It happened Tuesday at a residence at 10100 Reflections Boulevard West, between North Nob Hill Road and Hiatus Road. (Joe Cavaretta)
The warrant was related to a child pornography case being investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by federal prosecutors in Fort Lauderdale, sources confirmed to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Paramedics were called to the scene to attend to the wounded, and Fort Lauderdale police sent a small SWAT contingency team to Sunrise to assist with the situation, said Fort Lauderdale police spokesperson Casey Liening.

Even though he contributed to the destruction of many lives and untold suffering through child pornography. Now he has destroyed two more, and their families, so he would not have to face incarceration or public censure for his crimes.

On Sunday morning a woman was in a church here in Jamaica (peaceful Trelawny) and a gunman was sitting behind her. We're talking 10.30am. He opened fire hitting her with several shots and then escaped.
Looks like her stepson was upset at being left out of the property inheritance when his father/the deceased woman's husband died last year. Apparently she had to have security guards at her husband's funeral last year.

Her husband was married before and his first wife died leaving him and the son. When he decided to marry this woman, he sold the family home and then bought a new home with the new wife, and gave his son nothing from the sale.

I don't have the details but from what I'm hearing husband and second wife should have been way more considerate of that young man. Note- I am not condoning this horrific act, but we all know that greed kills and there was very bad blood with this young man and his relatives and the second wife.

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/02/02/us/fbi-sunrise-florida-shooting/index.html

Two FBI agents were killed and three others were injured in a shootout with a suspect in Sunrise, Florida, on Tuesday morning, the FBI said in a statement.

The shooting occurred at about 6 a.m. as a team of law enforcement officers executed a federal court-ordered search warrant as part of a violent crimes against children case, according to a statement from FBI Miami Special Agent Michael D. Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall.

Two FBI agents were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition, and the subject of the warrant is dead, the statement said.
The incident took place at the Water Terrace apartment complex in Sunrise at 6:04 a.m., according to Sunrise Police spokeswoman Otishia Browning-Smith. The person who officers were looking for barricaded himself, she said.
Police said there was a heavy police presence in the area of 4200 Nob Hill Rd. and that the street was closed in both directions. The scene was safe as of 9:04 a.m., according to police, who still asked people to remain in their homes due to the ongoing investigation.
The Water Terrace apartment complex where the shooting took place is an upscale gated community with a fitness center, pool and spa and tennis courts, its website says. Sunrise, a city of about 84,000 people as of the 2010 Census, is located about 10 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale in South Florida.

The higher the class of FloridaMan warfare, the more explosive and damaging it is.

This is why the whole bourgeois class of domestic terrorists must, MUST be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I don't trust the FBI to do that, and I don't know the AG well enough to know whether he'll set that standard.

But that is exactly what this nation needs right now; otherwise, down the road, there won't be enough legal precedents and established legal precedence to stop domestic terrorist accelerationists, and the legal battles with their defense lawyers will get much harder.

Two FBI agents were gunned down and three others were hurt from a shooting during a search warrant execution in Sunrise, Florida, Tuesday morning, the agency said.

-snip-

The two slain agents were identified as Daniel Alfin and Laura Schwartzenberger, FBI Director Christopher Wray said.

"Special Agent Alfin and Special Agent Schwartzenberger exemplified heroism today in defense of their country," Wray said in a statement. "The FBI will always honor their ultimate sacrifice and will be forever grateful for their bravery. We continue to stand by our FBI Family, and the families of these Special Agents, in the days to come, bringing every resource we can to get through this together.”

"These Agents were working to protect the most vulnerable in our society," O'Hare said in a statement. "FBIAA stands with the Agents’ families and pledges our support to them during this difficult time."

So yes, either they are trying to wrap up some additional arrests of others in the network who may not know the perp's address, or the perp is connected to some other person or organization, and they're waiting for it to blow over before quietly mumbling the name during a busy news cycle.

The suspect, who also died in the ambush, lay in wait for FBI agents who he observed through his doorbell camera before opening fire on them, it has since emerged.

Up, ready and waiting at 5:30 am?

2 FBI agents killed, 3 wounded while serving warrant. Gunman, now dead, shot them through door

The gunman, not yet identified by the FBI, is believed to have monitored the approach of the agents with a doorbell camera and ambushed them through the unopened door with a hail of bullets from an assault-style rifle, law enforcement sources told the Miami Herald.

“There are several huge holes in the door going outward,” one law enforcement official said.
