Ted Lieu has been terrific at cross-examining witnesses when I've seen him in Congress and he's on the team
Also on the team are: Rep. Diana DeGette of Colorado; Rep. David Cicilline of Rhode Island; Rep. Joaquin Castro of Texas; Rep. Eric Swalwell of California; Del. Stacey Plaskett, from the Virgin Islands; Rep. Madeleine Dean of Pennsylvania; and Rep. Joe Neguse of Colorado.

(11,738 posts)That isn't how Impeachment works. Yes we have many good attorneys in the Senate. Their role in the trial is a jurors, not prosecutors. The House is responsible for presenting the case against Trump. It is just as they did the last time where Adam Schiff lead the team of Nadler, Demmings, Lofgren, Jeffries, Crow, and Garcia.
The House will be lead by Jami Raskin and will have their own formidable lawyers, Ted Lieu, Joaquin Castro, Stacey Plaskett, Eric Swalwell and others.
