Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI heard "The President issued an Executive Order" this afternoon.
I was driving and the news station announced the President had signed an executive order and my first reaction was "Oh God, what the Fuck now?". Then they said it was about re-uniting children with their parents and I realized, oh yeah, that's right, Biden is the President. It's going to take me a long time to get over the past four years-it's not like writing 2020 instead of 2021 on checks. I'll get used to the fact Biden is President and craziness isn't just a tweet away. I'm sure the involuntary twitches will stop soon too.

(8,514 posts)I'm right there with you. I kind of wish they'd call him "President Biden" for a little while until we get used to it.
And I wish they'd just call trump "trump". No title. He never deserved a title.

(76,706 posts)Since inauguration I feel relieved that I don't have to get up each morning and say "Now what?!?!?"
So, hearing that on the radio wouldn't register that way.
Similar sentiment, different angle!

(2,010 posts)The last year in particular had me on edge. I'm sure I'm not alone there. But you are definitely right, no more waking up every morning wondering "Now what?"
