EDIT: From the linked story:
In the email, Wood confirmed he moved to South Carolina, writing I have been domiciled in South Carolina for several months after purchasing property in the state in April.
Now state election investigators are looking into whether that means Wood legally should not have been able to vote in the November election.
They site a section of Georgia code that reads If a person removes to another state with the intention of making it such persons residence, such person shall be considered to have lost such persons residence in this state.

(34,059 posts)(I don't actually know - but his statement sounds suspiciously like an attempt not to be a resident of Georgia for purposes of Federal Court jurisdiction (if the claim is a state claim, the parties generally have to be from diverse states)
It also explains how he knew there was voter fraud in Georgia by people who had moved away from Georgia . . .

(833 posts)that every single thing repugs have accused Dems of doing wrong, they've done themselves. I'd say they've turned projection into an art form except that they're so transparent, so predictable.

(50,552 posts)There are three Georgia statutes that cover voter fraud, and all are felonies:
OCGA 21-2-571 is for people who vote illegally in person. One to ten years in prison, fine up to $10,000, or both.
OCGA 21-2-572 is for voting more than once in the same election. One to ten years in prison, fine up to $100,000, or both.
OCGA 21-2-573 is for voting illegally absentee. One to ten years in prison, fine up to $100,000, or both.
Because, as we all know, Trump only hires the best people.
