Otherwise, at the mere inference that electing a Dem will get their precious guns taken away, many of these struggling families will re-develop short term memory loss at election time.

Count on it.

Makes sense though. Their mouth breathing, knuckle dragging base still doesn't think it's real. Some literally dying of the goddamn disease swear it's not real. Half the country is fucked.

Does he think we've forgotten how Republicans have acted for the last 4 years?

that Kate Bribois and Molly Knight did, short and right at the main issue. When I read Grant Stern’s tweet, I started looking for the point, found it only on the last line. Now imagine a 15 second sound bite political ad, whose tweet would you want to read to listeners? I would go for Molly’s, then Kate’s.

This was a vote to allow the bill to proceed through reconciliation so it can pass with a simple majority.

Now that it has, a bunch of the hypocritical republicans will vote to pass it now that their vote is meaningless. That way they can say they voted for the bill even though they would have prevented it through filibuster.

I don’t know if it will pass with more than 60 votes but that wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
