I had the local news on last night and as soon as the anchor started saying “The President...”, my hand frantically reached for the remote to hit mute. Then I glanced up at the screen and saw Joe Biden. Whew! What a relief.

Tempered with a bit of awareness of, well, one never knows.....

BUT at least it is no longer president.

News outlets doing both-siderism puts a big hole in my step about as often as a skip.

But it's better than the constant trudge before!

Not to mention gun toting psychos. It's pure madness. When they're expelled and removed from Congress I will feel the peace you're describing. Not a moment sooner.

11. I got blubbery watching Punxsutawney Phil this morning

Not exactly a spring in my step but definitely an emotional release. I think it's something to do with the luxury of being able to experience something pure and normal again.
