I'm not eligible yet. I told him that when I am eligible, I'd like to just go to the end of the line and keep working comfortably from home the way I've been, so some single mom working the cash register at a hardware store can have her shot first.

He said the distribution doesn't work that way, and I'm unlikely to actually help anyone anywhere by postponing.

Someplace that has it. Thousands more eligible than the supply can vaccinate. I really hope President Biden gets this ramped up.

and on the list at my doctor's office. She asked when I was there in early January for my Medicare wellness visit. It was 75+ at that time. My doctor told me she had 400 patient over 75. I was stunned.

5. I got it last night. Very organized.

There were 5 stations... checkin, signature, medical info and questions, shot, 15 minute wait to check for allergy reactions.even with the 15 minutes, I was in and out in 20
All free including the parking. Jab hurt just a bit, no side effects yet.
They scheduled the second shot immediately.
I hope everyone else here has easy access too.

I'm 71 also and I'm just gonna keep doing what I've been doing to be safe till I get my "jab"..

Husband is 82. We live in our own home. Still drive. Husband is on 3 hospital lists I'm on one. We have not gotten an appointment as yet. I'm not going to beg but geezz younger people are getting the shots. I have to shop myself get us both to doctors offices but no place to get the vaccine.

It is now done online through a state website and you choose your county.

My older sister tried calling the health dept with the same result. She got an appt through her doctor's office.

You are correct, the similarity to the Hunger Games is way too accurate.
