(12,181 posts)People - at least ones with intellectual horsepower enough to out-think cream of wheat - know that there are issues that are beyond critical, and just want them DONE. "Gloat about your part in it later - my family needs to eat."
Being obstructionist and being seen as obstructionist about SCOTUS nominations, for example? WAY down the list, when it comes to issues like feeding people.
People that purposely delay that, especially for strictly political posturing, may well find themselves with a whole lot of extra time on their hands in the not too distant future.
