A federal judge is facing backlash on Twitter after granting the approval of a Capitol rioter's vacation to Mexico despite the criminal charges she is facing.
Jenny Cudd previously requested to leave the United States to vacation in Mexico. Given her participation in the deadly insurrection on the U.S. Capitol, no one expected her request to be granteduntil it was. As part of the conditions of Cudd's release, she is not allowed to travel to Washington, D.C., but apparently, she has been allowed to leave the country, according to USA Today.
For many, Cudd's preferential treatment is a glaring example of the problems in America. Twitter users have sounded off with their concerns about the handling of Cudd's case. Bernice King, daughter of iconic civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., tweeted her assessment of the situation.

This is how normalizing insurrection and sedition is treated....Congress needs to impeach this judge.....this seditionsist has no remorse for her actions.....

Answer does not respond to any additional questions not as of yet played from the same hand, however I'm quite certain you posses the ability to research on your own dime.

(2,574 posts)American travelers should remember they will need a negative Covid-19 test result taken 72 hours or less before travel to return to the US. The US Embassy says results for PCR and antigen tests are reliably available within 72 hours in Mexico.

(Article is from Jan 29th, 2021)
Mexico lets travelers cross the land borders into Mexico from the US, generally with no hassle. American citizens can freely cross from Mexico into the US by land border, but probably need a negative COVID test to do so.

(484 posts)Sooooo, you wont catch Covid for 72 hours after you take a test?!?!?
Plus, the judges decision to support a bunch of people going to Mexico, where its my understanding the pandemic is also pretty bad, is ridiculous. "Lets just spread the virus even more!"

The point being...I got a lifetime exemption, which I have mixed feelings about.

Felony domestic violence.
I was jury foreman. I ran the discussion for 20 minutes. Unanimously not guilty on the 1st vote.
The prosecutors proved nothing other that something might have happened. Or not.
Basically, the court got caught in the middle of a family feud.

I don't want to see another "concern trolling" article about how Democrats don't understand working class Trumpsters. These are entitled pieces of shit who trashed one of our sacred symbols of Democracy. My Democratic relatives are working class and they don't act like these Qunts. We're not sending Mexico our best, are we? The cartels can have at her.

(25,959 posts)It's ridiculous. Screw her Mexican vacation. Jenny Cudd should be grateful she isn't sitting in jail.
Really? No remorse, no understanding that she did something horribly wrong. Why is she not in jail?

(6,582 posts)No response from the court, as far as I can see.
From USAToday:
Corrections and clarifications: A federal magistrate has not granted permission for Jenny Cudd to leave the country, as indicated in a previous version of this story.

(25,959 posts)Under the conditions of her release, Cudd is not allowed to travel to Washington unless it is for a court appearance or a meeting with her attorneys or pretrial services officer. She's not allowed to travel outside Texas, and international travel must be approved by a judge.
Good. Let her sit home in Texas and be grateful she isn't sitting in a jail cell.

(7,808 posts)Just inform Mexican authorities of who she is and what she has done.
Then she can enjoy her vacation in a Mexican jail. If it lasts a bit longer than she planned, all the better.
