And what a great way to communicate to the world that the US has kicked Trump to the curb and is embracing our wonderful diversity—at least those of us who have a functioning brain. That excludes most Republicans.

If we’re ever able to travel again, especially to Europe, I will no longer have to apologize for our president or answer curious questions about how the hell we elected him in the first place. The very fact that he won an election lowered trust in the US by measurable degrees—trust that may be hard even for Biden to regain because there’s always another election, an insane Republican Party may nominate a QAnon lover, and Republicans who are willing to use violence to overturn a fair election they lost could succeed the next time. I will believe the Republican Party is dead only when we are able to hold a funeral and bury the corpse.

I could do without the heels though -- they look great, but are just not realistic or practical. Women should not be seen as needing to balance on stilts to be powerful.

I'm the guy who went to see Midway in the theater with my mom in 1976...

And noticed that was a Hellcat when it was supposed to be a TBD and I clearly saw US battleships in the picture when there were none at Midway.

So yeah... why is Speaker Pelosi shorter than Vice President Harris when she's 3" taller...

Drives my wife crazy to this day... I Just can't watch a movie without noticing mistakes.

EDIT: to this day I can't get over Patton (1970) using American M48's painted to look like DAK German tanks...
