...should we identify with pics in a national registry people who refuse to wear masks in public?
...once identified, should they become the last to receive any vaccine and/or treatment behind everyone else in their community?
...they don't care about us, should we care about them?
...what do you think?...

(7,947 posts)There are many elderly people, and many who work with the elderly.
There's one cashier leaning over and laughing into the face of the customer. I saw only one person with a mask on. Here in the north, I find that insane. Everyone wears a mask in my town-- of course, it's required. There's also a plastic barrier between cashiers and customers in most stores.

(2,343 posts)I live in Arkansas, perhaps the most backwards, anti-science, God-fearin' place in the world. And our people are faithfully wearing masks. It's been almost unbelievable. I can think of only one instance where I saw a young couple flouting the mandate.
Every store I go to has a sign saying masks are required.
Even my church is enforcing the wearing of masks.
Come on, Florida!

(53,973 posts)Wonder what the average IQ is in that area? All we've heard about for a year now is ...covid, covid, covid...and the need to wear masks.
So many stupid people.

(1,495 posts)I notice some people wearing them wrong, under their nose or on their chin, but the majority are masked up correctly. Last time I shopped, I saw one guy wearing his mask on his chin, shopping with his 3 kids, who were all masked properly. I figure he might have forgotten to pull it up. I make sure I wear 2 masks and a face shield when I go into a store.
