11. I'm amazed the vote was anonymous.

I have never heard of an anonymous vote taking place in the House or Senate. It was discussed before trump's first impeachment went to the Senate (and was a bad idea imo,) but has any such vote ever occurred before?

How gutless, lacking in transparency and accountability.

Note in CNN's broadcast after the vote, Cheney lost no time taking a swipe at 'Democrat policies' in her comment. She may be willing to acknowledge trump's misdeeds, but she is no friend to us.

The hard liners are only going to be more galvanized by this, but since the vote was secret, they won't be able with to direct their scorn towards anyone in particular.
