Have the Republicans normalized violence as a political discourse

I would argue that the reason the Republicans don't see anything wrong with Greene's statements is because they have normalized violence as a political discourse. Just as they normalized white supremacy. They have gotten so used to Trump encouraging violent behavior that they see it as a normal political discourse.

It is now normal to use Democrats as actual targets in a ad hinting at gun violence. It has become normal to talk of hanging a political opponent.

People will flame me for this, but we're going to see actual RepubliQan Congress people start to physically attack their opponents at the Capitol, we've got them threatening violence to the Speaker and AOC on a daily basis now. Not just their supporters threatening violence, but actual Congress members.

Their threats need to be taken seriously, they are clearly bringing guns into the Capitol too.

Let's hope this fails and, by extension, ends the Republican party.

than I ever imagined possible. I don't think the republiqan party's going to end. I think it's undergoing a very radiqal rebranding.

Unfortunately, with gerrymandering, with the electoral college and the way they control and manipulate the media; I think they'll be very powerful for a long time.

Fuck the QOP.
