Nixon with the Southern Strategy and the Moral Majority, and the War on Drugs. That was major fucked up shit. Reagan with his "Government is the Problem" and escalation of the war on drugs. With his "folksy" persona while dealing arms to Iran and funding death squads in Central America. Bush got us into two wars, while trying to wage war on a tactic. Nixon and Reagan both committed traitorous acts in my opinion, to get elected Nixon with the Chennault Affair which scuttled the 1968 Peace talks to end the Vietnam War, and Reagan with the side deal with Iran for the hostages which lead to Iran-Contra.

Trump is just more crass, gaudy, and frankly, less competent. He never fit into the high society that he desperately wanted to belong to with his wealth. He took on a fake populist approach, even though he hates the "common man". As the based of the Republican party gets smaller (through attrition) they will continue to get crazier.
