because there is some difficulty is separating his official role as potus (which grants him immunity from civil suits) and his role as a private citizen candidate.
Or maybe they don't want their offices blown up.
Just guessing here. Lawyers always target low hanging fruit first. Nothing says trump can't be sued individually.
