A trend that should worry Republicans

The reverberations of the January 6 riot at the US Capitol -- and the role then-President Donald Trump and his complicit allies in Congress played in it -- are still moving through both the electorate and the country as a whole.

But less than a month removed from the riot, there's a very troubling trend beginning to develop in states around the country: lots and lots of people are leaving the Republican Party.

Consider these numbers:

* More than 10,000 registered Republicans in Arizona left the party in January -- almost five times the number of Democrats who left their side in that same time.

* In Utah, 7,600 Republicans have abandoned the party since January 6, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. By comparison, 830 left the Democratic Party.

They could call it the Liberty party. Wasn't there a campaign song in the 1860s about that? I think it was called "Abe Lincoln and Liberty too."

They will not want to be associated with Trump and sedition, nor a coup. Almost no one will be admitting that they voted for Trump, even if they stay Repub. They'll probably say they sat it out in 2016.

Us Jewish people never forget those who are against us. It is not complicated. This Greene is against
Jewish people. (something about Jewish space light saber starting a fire?, or something like that?)
...If any group of people were accused of that insanity by an accuser, wouldn't that group feel attacked.
What if a political party supported the accuser and not the group attacked?. Of course Republican
leadership couldn't care less. But if 10 percent of Jews were Republican...(yes about that amount were)
now none are Republican.
.. How can a major party support that nonsense? So after the Greene fiasco, more people will leave the party, and not just Jews. Now this "Crazy Greene with the automatic rifle, is the standard bearer of the Republican Party, and the idiots in that political party don't even know it.
