3. Should Iowa House members wear jeans?

I read on another site that Democratic members in the Iowa house will indeed be wearing jeans all week in protest.

I find this somewhat troublesome in that lawmakers especially should follow the rules.

On the other hand, I would point out that there are no rules that the members wear any pants at all. So, why not a pantsless Monday as happens on the New York subway once a year. Nothing but boxers? Frilly lace undies for those so inclined? Tightly whiteys? Or is it “tidey whiteys?”. Something with a message that says, “Kiss my grASSley?”

If you haven’t figured it out, I am a sarcastic old white guy from Iowa that know nothing about underwear of choice these days. As Jimmy Buffet sings, “We all run computers and don’t wear underwear”
