Liz Cheney hypocritically blasts Dems for Marjorie Taylor Greene expulsion: GOP not the party of QAnon or neo-Nazis
David Badash, The New Civil Rights Movement
U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the third most powerful Republican in the House of Representatives, hypocritically blasted Democrats after the House voted 230-199 to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of her committee assignments. Only 11 Republicans joined with Democrats to sanction Greene over her racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, dangerous lies, and support for the assassination of Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Accusing Democrats of abusing their power, Cheney released a statement falsely claiming "Republicans are not the party of QAnon conspiracy theorists, white supremacists, Holocaust deniers, or neo-Nazis. These views are evil."
Republicans are the party of those vile and dangerous movements and beliefs.
Ironically Cheney, who won a victory less than 24 hours earlier after far right Republicans lost an attempt to have her expelled from her leadership position, insisted it is the responsibility of Republicans "to address these issues inside our own conference."

Republicans ARE the party of QAnon conspiracy theorists, white supremacists, Holocaust deniers, and neo-Nazis -- and have been for years.
Keep the pressure up.

they realize they crossed the line. Sadly, they dont seem to remember where it was or have any idea how to cross back over.

Thats a good one. Not to say that all Republicans embrace those horrible views but a considerable segment of the Republican party is loaded with those views. To me the Republican Party is comprised of deplorable and cheap bastards that are only interested in their wallet and fuck everybody else. Yes there are some decent people in the Republican party that dont harbour those despicable views and have their conservative values with huge thriftiness thrown in as a big component of their positions. That group although used to be a much larger and I think today is maybe 30% of the Republican party and the rest are deplorable and all about their wallet types.
To sum it up, the majority of the Republican party are the trash of society in my view.

never will be a friend or ally of Democrats.
