the word democrat

is a noun... democratic is an adjective... democratically is an adverb

I am a Democrat

I belong to the Democratic Party

I want my representatives democratically chosen

is all of this too difficult to understand??

what kind of people want to knowingly continue using improper language... (rhetorical, yes)

And that's why they do it.

They're children.

Except I've seen far better-behaved actual children in my life...

But I think others (including people on our side) just don’t know the difference. I even have to catch myself and make sure I am using the right word in the right context.

I don't mind that at all. Dem is not abusive corruption of Democratic in my mind. I use it myself. Hope that is not disconcerting.

I felt the same as you for a time, I refused to care... now, it may be time to fight back... it is disrespectful and if we don't expect and demand respect, there will continue to be less and less

anything or anyone...I refuse to give them pleasure at my expense. A bland indifference is the best response. People in general hate when their BS is ignored.

Every ballot I’ve ever voted on says the Democratic Party. I never saw a chance to vote for the Democrat party. They not only want to insult us but they have a hard time believing in reality I think

They want to accentuate and always project the negative, the most vile, in reference to their political counter parts.

What they hope to inject here, create the mind set of, is Democrats are to be thought of as in only the lowly terms of being repulsive vermin,.. hence:

democRAT party

The Nazis customarily did this with the Jews to mold and manage the perceptions of German society.

Redundant and repetitive propaganda is most effective if one can achieve echo chamber proportions.
