General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsOh dear, Michael Flynn just blew up the "Q" narrative...
In an interview today with a RW YouTuber, he stated that:
Trump didn't sign the Insurrection Act...
The Military isn't secretly running the Country...
There's no "plan"...
"We have to accept the situation as we have it"...
Flynn had been envisioned by the QANON gang as integral to Trump's return hoped-for return; many adherents believed Trump was going to name him as VP.
The faithful are going to have to move the goalposts again.

My hunch is that it originates in Putin-land, but of course has been rerouted numerous times.
What do you all think?

(6,576 posts)To me it has all the markings of a foreign psyop, designed to destabilize our society, but at the same time it could have been 1 person (or a few people) doing it as a twisted joke, to see how far people would take it.
It's also possible it started out with 1 (or a few) domestic actors as a joke & once it started spreading, foreign actors became involved & amplified it to drive chaos & division in our society.

(6,576 posts)Who is Q?
The two Americans most clearly associated with the author of thousands of "Q drops" dating back to October 2017 are James Arthur Watkins, 56, who gained control in 2015 of the controversial anonymous message board 8chan, and his son, Ronald Watkins, former 8chan administrator and current administrator of its successor, the Watkins-owned 8kun.
Since 2001, Watkins has been living in the Philippines, according to Philippines immigration records obtained by ABC News.
"If he's not 'Q' himself, he can find out who 'Q' is at any time," said Fredrick Brennan, the creator of 8chan and Watkins' former business partner.

(1,336 posts)Quite an interesting read. It sounds as though Watkins is perhaps only the deliverer, and not the originator of the "Q" drops.
