Who was the idiot who asked this dumb question during the press conference? Then he tried to preface it by saying that the Administration has advise the American public against traveling so why is he....as if Biden is buying a Want to Getaway ticket from Southwest Airlines...

(34,747 posts)Democratic presidents are not allowed to leave the White House, even to go home. They must stay there 24/7/365. And, don't even think about charging the Secret Service to use your private facilities while they protect you.

(11,390 posts)As if it were some exotic foreign location rather than a U.S. state where he was born and raised (and, IIRC, his sister still lives)? One of the usual pundits - I think it was Cokey Roberts - even said it was more American to go someplace like Myrtle Beach.
I'm glad Psaki just left it "he lives there" rather than point out how many times Donnie traveled to one of his properties to play golf: let the media uncover that for themselves.
Totally Tunsie
(11,671 posts)to not mention, in any way, the previous of the White House. I notice she's also refusing to comment on MTG. Definitely taking the high road.

(34,747 posts)It was early in his first term. They went up to see a Broadway play and have dinn. They didn't even use the 747. They flew up in a small, far-less-costly Gulfstream jet. The GQPers completely lost their shit over it. Just like they did any time they brought along the girls and their grandmother. Bunch of fucking hypocrites, but they always have been. Nothing new under the sun.

(7,964 posts)She seem stunned at the question. At first I thought it must be the Faux reporter, but maybe she was stunned that an AP reporter would ask such a dumb question.

Or perhaps it's a sting operation, announce he's heading there and see what crawls out of the woodwork.
