Short version: the FBI has every ping that was recorded that day from the "rally" to the U.S. Capitol. Everyone who brought a cellphone with them that day - probably 99% of the adults in attendance - pinged off the cell tower at the U.S. Capitol. Because the Capitol has its own transmission network within its walls and vicinity. Everyone will be found and identified soon enough. The only exceptions will be those who had no phone on their person, or those who carried a "burner" phone.

Anyone who was stupid enough to wear a jacket with their company name on it, well you get arrested first. If you wore an easily distinguishable pink knit hat and used a bullhorn, well you win the prize. But you will all be identified and located.
