The hostage taker had a shotgun, not an AR-15, or anything of that ilk. Nobody was shot, nobody was killed. It's not even clear that she was even present at the time. I have my doubts that she was anywhere near the situation.

Regardless, I'm sure the incident looms large in her mind and I don't discount her fear in that situation wherever she was that day.
