feel like a rescue dog?
Like our dog, Jagger. He was living on a mountainside, sleeping huddled in various weather out in a chain. He'd never been inside a house.
We were lucky to get him for free on Craigslist
His first week with us he went on an 18 mile hike with my husband. It's been full speed even since.
Anyway, point is, we all Americans just went from sitting in a cold hole in the dirt to Christmas at gramma's with this new Biden Harris administration!!!!

(6,509 posts)My dog is a pound dog. She has her own style and is sweet as can be. I have made her come in the house this winter. She really hates being inside. That's the truth. She hates being leashed, hates being in the kennel, and generally likes to just hang out in total freedom. Probably why she was in the pound.
So, I woke up this morning and headed to the rest room. This is the G-d's honest truth. There on the floor was an empty mac n cheese bowl with dog pee in it. This dog fished out a bowl and peed in it. It was neatly placed in my pathway, not in any way knocked about. I'm not kidding.
I dunno. I take my miracles where I find them. I can't explain it. Maybe she wants her own toilet? Is that the price of giving up her freedom? I'm just a human. I can't figure all this out.
But, my dog is hella smart.
