DC press: Maybe spend a little energy asking why the GOP hates unity.

The Rude Pundit

You know, under the rules of reconciliation, nothing prevented Senate Republicans from voting for a budget bill supported by a big majority of Americans. But they all voted against it. So, DC press, maybe spend a little energy asking why the GOP hates unity.

2. Excellent point! They always manage to frame the discussion away from their culpability.

9. We can thank this individual for putting the country on the track of never calling a spade a spade.

He always bent the meaning of words and phrases to favor a republican point of view.

For example:
In a confidential memo to the Republican party, Luntz is credited with advising the Bush administration that the phrase "global warming" should be abandoned in favour of "climate change", which he called a "less frightening" phrase than the former.

In fact, it always bewildered me why the Democrats never found their own wordsmith to fight fire with fire!

And to be clear let's consider:
It is also referred to as "let's call a spade a spade, not a gardening tool", which refers to calling something "as it is", that is, by its right or proper name, without "beating about the bush"—being outspoken about it, truthfully, frankly, and directly, even to the point of being blunt or rude..... https://tinyurl.com/jjz8gpa

13. I think using "conservative" instead of the far more accurate "regressive" is a great example of.

I use "conservative" only when it's the more appropriate choice - describing William F Buckley, for example. Saved only by his fame would be his only way to not be primaried today.

They know. When You're owned by a big corp. You can only ask stupid questions, anything else doesn't pay. So they keep pounding sand and I believe we are becoming woke enough to start calling them on and we scare them. They have gotten away with a play on words and we are getting past that too.

5. The GOP has a different definition of unity than you'll find in a dictionary.

For them, unity means capitulation; our way or no way.
They expect us to unite behind their dictatorial demands.

It's more than just promoting what we're doing. That's obviously the most vital information to disseminate. But we ALSO need to contrast our actions with GOP inaction; we need to constantly compare and contrast, compare and contrast. If the press won't do it for us, we need to amplify it with every opportunity.

We definitely need to underscore the half-truths and overt lies that spew from the QOP. Realize that they exist SOLELY to nullify us, and we truly stand for the majority. One day maybe even some of the zombies on the right will start to catch on.
