When false news and false reason,

Years in advance,
This outrage was planned.
When they had their chance,
Their rage was then fanned.
For racism and hate,
They killed with blunt force,

As Kompromat-led members of Senate and House
tried to make a dictator from a loser and louse,
brave police fought when told to stand down,
And it was their courage that saved nation and town.
Never forget those brave few that held strong
When Trump called out love to those in the wrong.

7. We do need to remember January 6

But I don't think we should center it around the Orange Slime. I would prefer that the day be portrayed with horns and fur. What caused this was a cult of hatred and stupidity. A cult of bullies that has always looked around for an excuse to injure others. Race, Country, Gender and Gender Choice have been their easy marks but all along this culture has hated those that stood up to it more than any others. We have all heard the line, "The only good liberal is a dead liberal," and never once has a member of their side asked their people to calm it down. When confronted, they say it was a joke as bullies do after realizing that their game is at a temporary end.

Liberals have died, hung, shot and torched when they stood up against bullies. I don't want to turn this around and return the quote and the favor. I don't want these idiots to drive us to that point. But bullies test the limits and learn how far they can go. They thought they had tested the limits. A lot of them planned for a day when they could in fact come for us. There were explosives ready to destroy our government. Bombs ready to be used to destroy democracy by men so confused by hatred that they had no clue what democracy is.

For me, a day that remembers the stupidity of following hate and our experience when that hatred is allowed to breed would be a good memorial.

For me, it is not cancel culture when we call out men like Tucker Carlson. It is a shunning that should follow such men to grave and impoverish them. Since the Republican base will not rein in their own, a day that remembers just how stupid haters are would be a good thing. A day that ignores names but remembers that selfishness, deceit and hatred are destructive forces that can be wielded by tyrants.
