Gavin Miles McInnes (/məˈkɪnɪs/; born 17 July 1970) is a Canadian writer and far-right political commentator. He co-founded Vice in 1994 at the age of 24, and relocated to the United States in 2001. In more recent years, he has drawn attention for his far-right political activism and his role as the founder of the Proud Boys, a neo-fascist political group designated as a terrorist group in Canada. McInnes is known for promoting violence against political opponents, but has claimed that he only has supported political violence in self-defense and that he is not far-right or a supporter of fascism.
So I personally keep that in mind when consuming media product of Vice.
ETA - he is no longer associated with Vice, having left in 2008 -

(14,704 posts)I dont know about the Vice network in general, but the Qanon series that aired today was legit. The two hosts were not at all sympathetic to the Qanon nuts they interviewed. In my opinion, they put themselves in danger chasing down the roots of Qanon and the folks behind it. I recommend watching the series if its aired again.
