Of them. Why so many music appreciation posts in latest threads? Maybe I just don’t understand how the site works?

1. Because folks like me get on a kick!

I tend to post a bunch of different songs on Music Appreciation when I have time and feel in the mood. Many times, months go by and I post nothing. It's purely at a user's whim. And there is no particular periodicity involved. It's purely random.

I love seeing the MA posts: they remind me of great songs, make me hear a great song I had never heard of, or make me never want to hear that song again!

2. All posts go into latest threads.

If someone overdoes it posting, you can ignore them and the posts will go off the board.

3. I usually like to check out the music offerings, but sometimes they do get to be too much.

When that happens, you can "trash forum" and the forum's posts disappear. Click on the forum name and the forum list will show up. At the top of the list is a dashboard with a "trash forum" option.

4. Though I often enjoy those posts, I've had to hide MA lately.

Too much of a good thing. It was getting so my Latest forum was overcrowded with posts from the Music Appreciation group.

I found that there's an option to Hide rather than to Trash. I chose Hide so I can still visit the forum when I want to.

I'm glad people are enjoying Music Appreciation and are so active there. I hope they'll boogie on far into the night, but while they do, I'll need to continue to hide the posts.

5. I just un-trash after a day or so. It usually calms down in that amount of time.

But, lately, they have been taking over my feed. I had no idea you could hide or trash. I’ll see if I can figure out how to manage it. Again, thank you!

You can browse to the forum in question, choose "Trash this" from the header, and then choose the Hide option.

I went to forums and groups. But, there is no music appreciation listed.
