MILTON, Ga. — A local 18-year-old has been arrested on charges related to the riots at the U.S. Capitol last month.

The FBI Atlanta confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that 18-year-old Bruno Cua of Milton was arrested. Agents and local authorities raided his home in Milton on Friday.

A spokesperson for the FBI Atlanta division said the Department of Justice is in charge of releasing details of Cua’s alleged involvement in the riots. The documents will be made available on the Department of Justice’s website but as of Sunday morning, they have not been posted.

Three days before on Jan. 3, Cua warned his followers about the possibility of firearm checkpoints in D.C. He also encourages them to arm themselves with pepper spray, tasers and baseball bats.

on Facebook and other social media. Heck, at the school where I used to work, there were freaking 12 year olds with pages that had thousands of followers. Some just for being a gamer and a decent MC. (One of them used this talent a few times on stage at the school as well). It would be no surprise if that boy had a host of followers on Parler, TikTok, Instagram, etc. It is a scary thing to imagine, but it is the reality we have created.

We did have about an inch of snow last night but quickly melting.

MILTON, Ga. — Police were dispatched to Birmingham Falls Elementary due to reports of an erratic driver Dec. 8.

According to the police report, a man driving a pickup truck with a large Donald Trump flag was racing around the parking lot blaring his air horn while kids were present. The driver was identified as 18-year-old Bruno Joseph Cua.

According to the report, Cua told officers he was “flying his flag” and the parking lot was the only place he could test it out. He said another officer told him he could use the school lot and he waited for a school bus to clear out before he started driving around. He said the group of juveniles in the parking lot were his younger brother and the brother's friends who gathered to watch him fly the Trump flag.

Cua denied doing “donuts” around the parking lot, but said he had to pick up some speed to get his flag to flap in the wind. He admitted to blowing his air horn once, but told an officer “there was no one around here, I wasn’t harassing anyone,” the report stated. The officer cited Cua for violating the city’s public disturbance ordinance."

Cua’s mother has a photography business and his father is the vice president of lifestyle brands and managed development for an international hotel group, according to his LinkedIn page. Attempts to reach them for comment Saturday were unsuccessful. An AJC reporter called a number listed for Cua’s mother, but the woman who answered hung up after the reporter identified himself.
