This tweet about redistricting is spot on

The states that are losing seats (Cali, NY, Minnesota, New Jersey) the seats that are lost have to be the Republican districts ones to offset what Republicans are going to do in Florida and Texas....wouldn’t it be nice for McCarthy and Nunez have to battle each other in a primary because one of their districts went away

It may be Adam Kinzinger's seat.

Democrats have a supermajority here. We can redraw these districts any way we like, as long as we stay within the bounds of the Voting Rights Act.

Isn’t there another republican seat that can be drawn out? I hate to see repugs happy. Lol.

This is a very red district. He has an "R" after his name. I think he is looking to run for higher office.

Don't count him out. He is a snake an an opportunist.

Arizona has done it and there have been improvements ever since. My district has been blue rather than gerrymandered into a red area.

But I hate how a lot of Republican states don’t while Democratic states do...that puts us at a disadvantage by playing by different rules

Until we actually fix that, along with campaign finance, then America will continue to suffer.

We don’t know for certain which states will lose seats. I also read that West Virginia and Mississippi may lose a seat as well.

The size of the House needs to be changed. A state shouldn’t lose seats unless it loses population. The 435 seat limit can and should be changed.

Hasn’t been changed in over 100 years. The population has tripled since the size of the House was set at 435. New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii weren’t states yet in 1910. Women and minorities couldn’t vote.

that would also make the EC more representative until we can get rid of it.

It is absolutely unfair that a voter in the Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, etc. have more representation than people in more populous states.

They are leaving and going to where the jobs and lower taxes are, that benefits us in a sense that at the state wide election level the ruby red states are becoming more competitive, but they can still gerrymander at the district levels

If gerrymandering can't be stopped, demographics shifting Dem will not be enough to win in many places.
