Shouldn't Democrats argue that relief money for those who don't need it is a tax cut?

If someone doesn't need relief money, then it's really a tax cut for them.

Republicans really like tax cuts so why would they object?

Meanwhile "target" the $1400 relief money the same way the last $600 was targeted.

Not really, because that money is itself taxable. The Velveteen Ocelot Feb 2021 #1

They never take credit for the debt though. 90 percent of the debt is due to repugs. We are ok as a country as long as we continue to pay the interest payments. If the interest payments get to high, not sure what would happen. I’m not sure anybody does.
