Without hesitation.
Funny thing is, a good friend of ours (deceased 2 years) rose to police captain in a city of 160,000.
He drew his gun in the line of duty twice. In 40+ years. Never fired it, except at practice range.
He was IA, community liaison, gang task force. He would act with revulsion when he heard about dirty cops.
But, the union defends all the bad cops, so the few exemplars get buried in the manure from the bad ones, including those that stand by and enable rotten behavior.
