1. I thought Dick Durbin now chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee?

If so, who cares what Lyin' Leningrad Lindsey says?

Delay the impeachment trial by a bit and get Garland, along with other DoJ and US Attorney appointees, confirmed ASAP.

2. Durbin only just took over the committee from Graham, who was refusing to hold hearings.

I suspect that Durbin will hold hearings this week, targeting floor confirmation shortly after President's Day (the week of 2/15).

5. The 8th starts the impeachment

Doubt anything will happen this week and possibly next. Unless they are seriously doing impeachment in the morning and regular jobs in the afternoon. That was brought up as a possibility, but I haven’t heard that said in a few weeks. Maybe tomorrow we will learn more on schedule.

As he has said in the last couple weeks,Dems can work full days were as the previous Party was all about protecting McConnell's idea of a Senate operation. Schumer and Durbin will run both Hearings as well as Impeachment.
