(65,010 posts)3. Hey Goth!
What area of law do you practice?
99% of my lawyer experience has been with folks specializing in either regulatory affairs or in intellectual property.
All 6 trials in which I testified were in IP (with restraint of trade included in a couple.)
All 6 of the lead litigators I was with were superb, IMO. Nice people, too.

(145,176 posts)7. I am a corporate law attorney but my hobby is election law
I do M&A, complex partnerships and deals. For a while I was doing a ton of gaming law. I have been volunteering on voter protection matters since 2004

(65,010 posts)8. Thanks!
My election side volunteerism has been industry & economic analysis for local legislative candidates. Dem, of course.
I might be bad luck though, because only one candidate for US house won! One out of 10 isn't even good in baseball!
