Heart Appreciation Thread
I thought it would be easier for people to post their thanks in one thread. I'll go first: I'd like to thank the kind people who sent me hearts. It brightened my day. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much to the two lovely persons who gave me hearts yesterday. It's always a thrill to receive one as likewise it is to give them out. 
And the fact that they are anonymous is just icing on the cake--you may think you know who your friends are, but smile knowing some are your pals without saying so! 
It's such a boost and I really appreciate it. Even more fun is to find someone with no heart and give one away to them. Click - there's one! Click - there's another one! I love hearts season. Thanks again.

For the past four years! I joined DU originally waaaaaaay back in the “dark ages” of 2005-ish after lurking for a bit. I felt like my heart had been torn out on Election Day 2016 when we were hacked. Ugh! So awful! I knew the night was going to go badly 
Being able to visit DU as our numbers in Georgia and Arizona and Michigan and PA went for Biden in 2020 was wonderful. Thank you so much my friends. The last four years have been brutal! Here comes the sun, I hope...
I bet someone will give you one soon.

I would not have been surprised by two since I have 2 friends here. I am startled at 5. Never expected that an old curmudgeon like yours truly could get 5!

(* Well not lawn because I disapprove of lawns among other things, but you get my drift

As a not so prolific, but long time poster, I don't really accumulate a lot of hearts, and that's okay. But that makes the ones I do get all the more special
