Transplant recipients/Pfizer vaccine

Is anyone a transplant recipient who has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine? My dear brother, who had a double lung transplant had a bad reaction to the 1st shot. We are all nervous about the 2nd dose. He has to get the vaccine. A case of Covid would kill him. Uncharted territory according to his doctors.

I got my 1st Pfizer dose on Jan 30th, then found out I am starting IV chemo for pancreatic cancer again, later today.
My doctors have told me they are watching for my chemo reactions, as many of us, like your brother, are getting major treatments while getting the vaccines.

I am glad, my caregivers are watching out for me and suggest anyone that knows of similar situations to have them ask their doctors about watching for CoVid shot reactions and specific treatments.
If anything, to coompile more data and to differentiate anything that could be an indicator of something with the disease, or with the vaccination.

I will bookmark this post to followup

I had chemo in 2016 (same year my husband died and, ugh, Trump). I’ll send good thoughts. I’m sure you know this, but bring an enormous water bottle and force yourself to drink it throughout the IV and afterwards.
