Is this really what republicans are saying?

GQP: The President of the US cannot be indicted while in office.

also GQP: The former president cannot be tried in the senate for crimes committed while in office after he leaves.

GQP: “No man, is above the law,” oh wait..

Where does it say in the constitution that the POTUS is beyond the grasp of laws for crimes committed while they were in office at the time they’re serving and after their term ends. I don’t believe the founders intended that for a second.

when they were fiddle-fucking with land development laws. They claimed that they had immunity from prosecution. Until someone in the private sector sued them, and what it looked like was that they were trying to discourage anyone from attempting a lawsuit.

I think we all knew Trump was going to push this to a constitutional crisis. So, let's play the hand out.

cynical and utterly dishonest charade born of political expediency. They would change their tune in a nanosecond if this involved a Democratic president. They are contemptible hypocrites.
