3. He was double masked at his swearing in ceremony too.

I double mask every day and get a test (the DNA, non- rapid test) each week. I haven’t gotten COVID yet, even having been around a co-worker who got it. Hopefully, Secretary Pete and his husband will be OK.

I now double mask every-time I leave the house. I figured if Pete was doing it I should too.

15. I'm very glad that you're taking extra precautions!

I wear a disposable medical mask with a bendy nose piece under a full coverage cloth mask.

My favorite cloth mask is from StringKing in Los Angeles. I have two that I my employer provided. The cotton masks are lightweight and full coverage with a shaped nose area and comfortable, thin ear strings.

You can reuse the disposable masks until they are soiled. I keep 3 in rotation at any one time. My employer provides the disposable masks too.

I started double masking consistently a couple weeks ago and I think it was the photo of Pete and Chasten that inspired me. I had sometimes put a surgical mask on over my cloth mask, which just didn’t feel right for some reason. But I saw their photo and went, duh, put the cloth mask over the surgical one. Get the protection of the surgical and the fit of the cloth. Brilliant!

There just aren’t that many of them. The cabinet should be vaccinated. So should the staff and Secret Service.
