CNN is getting more sensationalist by the week. Here at 7:00 AM their headline is:

SOON: FMR. PRESIDENT TRUMP'S HISTORIC SECOND IMPEACHMENT TRIAL BEGINS

Right next to it is "Coverage begins today 12P ET"!

When did "soon" become five hours?

1. Their writers would probably argue something about relativity...

... and how it compares to how much time remained starting from January 13, 2021... the day he was impeached.

They want to make it seem imminent so that people will stick around through the numerous commercial breaks.

(Seems like forever-ago, almost.)

something critical had happened such as assassinations, bombings, etc. The sensationalism of every little happening is ridiculous.

Now everything is "breaking news". Breaking News: "Superbowl festivities about to kick off" etc.

8. Jake Tapper REALLY annoyed me yesterday

I was in the car listening to CNN. In the span of about 30 minutes yesterday afternoon, I heard him refer to 2 concocted issues.

I heard him refer to the Biden administration's "clumsy" handling of the Trump intelligence briefings.

Then, he had an ethics expert on to discuss Biden "ethics" issues about Joe's brother and the law firm and that Joe was trying to help sell Hunter Biden's new book.

I can easily see someone like Tapper desperately looking for something to say about the Biden administration over the next 4 years with that angry face of his....he NEVER smiles! Jake, here's a clue

He was a gold mine for them and now their viewership has likely plummeted. They know Trump = ratings gold, so they longer they can make him relevant the more people will watch.

I love Biden...but he and Harris are soooooo boring, in a good way, because it means they are doing their jobs.
