I know many will say "Good, Doug Jones or another Democrat will easily beat that lunatic!", please remember, it's Alabama. Roy Moore is perhaps even crazier, and he would have won had it not been for allegations of going after underage girls. This worries me a lot.

(46,327 posts)As in conservawhacks like Mo Brooks and Tommy Tuberville will get more votes.
I'm more interested in getting rid of Ron Johnson here in Wisconsin, next year.
He's the second dumbest Senator right now, behind Tuberville.

In fact, I don't know of anyone, yet, who will be running in democratic slot.

Mo was DA here in Huntsville for a while. We all hated him. As far as Tubs, he cheated in football.

(25,471 posts)It wouldn't be easy for any Democrat to win. Jones won in large part because of his opposition. Brooks would be a tougher ask.
Birmingham's mayor, Randall Woodfin, has been a rumored possibility on the Democratic side.
